251124006721 - Renewal of ECC for continued operation and management of the existing Oranjemund Landfill site

There are currently two waste disposal sites in Oranjemund adjacent to each other. The old was supposed to be decommissioned but somehow still utilized by some and the new site that is still not under operation. The new proposed site (landfill site) is an upgrade from the old site and is served with modern facilities to handle proper waste landfilling such as the guardhouse, weigh bridge, sorting spaces, recycling cells, fencing. The Orajemund was issued with an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the operation and management of an existing newly established waste disposal site (landfill site). The ECC was issued in 2021-09-06 and expired on 2025-09-06.
