This application is for the renewal of an existing Environmental Clearance Certificate, currently held by the Proponent, Desert Storage CC. Desert Storage CC owns and operates a bulk emulsion facility on a portion of Farm 38, Walvis Bay Municipal District, Erongo Region, where the proponent stores, handles, and transports hazardous chemical substances. 9.1 The manufacturing, storage, handling, or processing of a hazardous substance defined in the Hazardous Substances Ordinance, 1974.
