251106006617 - PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT OF ORCHARDS TO GROW FRUITS IN AREAS BETWEEN THE CENTRE PIVOTS AT SIKONDO IRRIGATION SCHEME, KAVANGO WEST REGION, NAMIBIA

To enhance optimal land utilization at the Sikondo Green Scheme, the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform (MAWLR) proposes the development of perennial fruit orchards in the areas presently vacant among the center pivot irrigation infrastructure. Recognizing that this initiative falls under the definition of a listed activity, the MAWLR will formally submit an application for an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) prior to commencing the undertaking.

Commenting of the public on this project will expire at 12h00 on the 2025-11-28
