250829006325 - THE APPLICATION FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AN EXISTING VON BACH BOOSTER 2 – NUBUAMIS AND VON BACH BOOSTER 2 –DWA ELECTRICAL RETICULATION SYSTEM.

Under the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) section 27 the activity described as “energy distribution, transmission and generation” requires an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) as it is a listed activity. NamPower would therefore like to apply for the ECC for the operation and maintenance of Von Bach Booster 2 – Nubuamis electrical reticulation system and associated infrastructures to comply with the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations. The Von Bach Booster 2 – Nubuamis – DWA Reticulation route starts from Von Bach Booster substation and runs west and south via Bokomo Substation towards smallholdings and businesses in the general Nubuamis area in Khomas region. The Von Bach Booster 2 – Nubuamis - DWA electrical reticulation system has a total length of 38 km and it has towers constructed with wooden pole structures.
