250811006224 - Renewal of Environmental Clearance Certificate for the On-going Quarrying Activities on Lease Area No. 1 of Swakopmund Townlands, Erongo Region

Onganja Mining Company, trading as Quarry Ventures is the holder of a commercial quarrying right to Lease Area No. 1, Swakopmund Townlands 41, by agreement with the Swakopmund Municipality Council. Quarry Ventures also obtained an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) in August 2022 and this is due to lapse. Therefore, we are submitting an application for the renewal of the ECC in order to remain compliant in terms of the Environmental Management Act No. 7 of 2007 and its Regulations.
