Under the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) section 27 the activity described as “energy distribution, transmission and generation” requires an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) as it is a listed activity. NamPower would therefore like to apply for the issue of an ECC for Von Bach Booster 2 – Döbra and Von Bach Booster 2 – Brakwater Reticulation System including other associated Infrastructures to comply with the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations. This electrical reticulation system runs from Von Bach Booster 2 Substation towards Döbra area and Brakwater area in Khomas Region. The Von Bach Booster 2 - Döbra – Brakwater electrical reticulation system has a total length 101.2 km and has towers constructed with wooden pole structures.
