250710006090 - RENEWAL AND TRANSFER OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE (ECC) FOR THE CONTINUED OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT OF CAMP KIPWE, KUNENE REGION

Vision of Africa was issued with an ECC for the operation of Camp located Kipwe located within the Tweyfelfontien Conservancy in Kunene region. The first ECC was issued was issued on 16 March 2017 and expired in March 2020. The expired ECC was subsequently renewed but also expired again in 2023. To ensure due diligence and compliance with the Environmental Management Act 07 of 2007 and its Regulations of February 2012, the proponent intends to apply for the new ECC for the continued operation and management of Camp Kipwe Lodge. In the same vein, we also wish to inform that Chiwani Business Trust has since acquired 100% shares of Camp Kipwe Lodge. Thus, the new ECC should be transferred from Vision of Africa to, Chiwani Business Trust, P. O. Box 4078, Windhoek.
