The ECC is required for Upgrading MR76 from Gravel Road Standards to Bitumen Road Standards. The project road provides critical connectivity between northern Namibia, Angola, and the coastal Erongo Region. Once upgraded to bitumen standards, MR76 will form a vital part of Namibia’s regional road network, supporting both rural and urban development along its corridor. Road infrastructure plays a key role in improving socio-economic development. The upgrade of MR76 is expected to: • Enhance access to health, education, and markets. • Lower travel times and vehicle operating costs. • Support tourism, trade, and freight movement across the region. • Provide employment opportunities during the construction phase
