250401005582 - RENEWAL OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE FOR THE CONTINUED OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE EXISTING LÜDERITZ WASTE DISPOSAL SITE (DUMPSITE)

The Lüderitz Town Council was granted an Environmental Clearance Certificate for the operation and management of an existing waste disposal site (dumpsite), ECC02176 valid from 2022-05-11 and expires on 2025-05-2025. The dumpsite area covers an approximate size of 966m2 and has been operational for more than 40 years. The Town Council intends to continue operating from the same site, thus has appointed Green Gain Consultants cc to apply for the renewal of the ECC to ensure compliance with the Environmental Management Act 07 of 2007 and other relevant legislations.
